About Linen
Responsibly Grown French Linen
French-grown linen is renowned for its sustainability and minimal environmental impact. Flax, the plant linen comes from, requires little water to thrive and is cultivated without the use of harsh chemicals. Linen is naturally resilient and can withstand years of use, while still being biodegradable at the end of its life—returning to the Earth without harm.
Designed for Lasting Quality
Linen is a sturdy, quality fabric that gets softer with each wash. These sheets are made to be cherished and used frequently, reflecting the ethos of “buy less, buy better.” While durable, our linen is not meant to last forever; when it’s time to retire your bedding, rest assured that its natural fibers will biodegrade. We've used our worn down sheets and scraps for curtains, doll beds, dog bandanas, the colors are so good we put them everywhere and on everything we can.
100% Plastic-Free
Our commitment to a plastic-free product means that we use 100% coconut buttons instead of synthetic materials. These buttons are a renewable, biodegradable option that complements linens’ eco-friendly philosophy.
Organic and OEKO-TEX Certified
We source organically grown flax and ensure all of our linens meet OEKO-TEX certification standards, which guarantees that each piece is free from harmful substances. Additionally, our fabrics are dyed in the USA using eco-conscious processes to further reduce environmental impact.
Eco-Friendly Care Tips
- Air Dry: Skip the dryer whenever possible and hang your linens outside. Air-drying is gentle on the fibers, extends the life of your bedding, and cuts down on energy usage.
- Dryer Balls: If you prefer to use a dryer, try wool dryer balls instead of disposable dryer sheets. They can help reduce drying time, saving energy while softening your sheets naturally.
- Cooler Wash Cycles: Washing in cold water uses less energy and is gentler on your linens, helping preserve their color and feel.
